Privacy Policy

Last updated · August 31, 2026

This policy explains what information Generated Goods collects when you use our site, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

Who we are

Generated Goods LLC, an Oklahoma limited liability company trading as Generated Goods (“we,” “us,” “our”), operates this website and the custom print-on-demand products sold through it. Generated Goods LLC is the data controller for the personal information described below. You can reach us any time at support@generatedgoods.com, or by post at the address at the end of this policy.

Information we collect

  • Account information. When you sign up, our authentication provider (Clerk) stores your email address and basic profile details so you can sign in and view your orders.
  • Order & payment information. When you buy, our payment processor (Stripe) collects your name, shipping address, and payment details. We never see or store your full card number — Stripe handles that directly.
  • Designs & prompts. The text prompts you enter and the images you generate or upload are stored so we can show you your work, render previews, and print your order. To actually generate an image we send your prompt — and any reference image you upload with it — to the AI providers listed below.
  • Photos of people. Some design modes place a person’s likeness into the artwork. If you use one, the photo you upload is sent to our AI image provider so it can render that likeness. Only upload a photo of yourself, or of someone who has agreed to it.
  • Voice dictation. If you use the microphone button to speak a prompt, the short audio clip is sent to OpenAI to be transcribed into text. We don’t keep the recording — only the resulting text, which becomes your prompt like any other.
  • Newsletter. If you sign up for product news, we store your email address until you unsubscribe.
  • Usage & diagnostics. We use privacy-conscious analytics (Vercel Analytics & Speed Insights) and error monitoring (Sentry) to keep the site working. These collect aggregate usage and crash data; we configure them to mask text and avoid collecting unnecessary personal detail.

How we use your information

  • To create your account and let you sign in.
  • To generate images, render product previews, and fulfill and ship your orders.
  • To send transactional email about your order (confirmation, shipping updates).
  • To send product news — only if you signed up for it, and you can opt out at any time.
  • To detect abuse, debug problems, and improve the product.

Service providers we share with

We share the minimum information necessary with trusted processors who help us run the business. We do not sell your personal information. Our key processors are:

  • Clerk — authentication and account management.
  • Stripe — payment processing.
  • AI image providers (fal.ai, OpenAI, xAI, and Google) — generating, editing, and upscaling your artwork. They receive your prompt text and any image you supply with it, including a photo you upload for a likeness-based design. Which provider handles a given request depends on the quality tier you choose. Separately, whichever tier you pick, your prompt text is sent to Google before generation to check it against our content policy and to expand it into a fuller prompt.
  • OpenAI (speech-to-text) — transcribing prompts you dictate with the microphone button. It receives the audio clip and returns text.
  • Printify and Printful (and their print partners) — manufacturing and shipping your order; they receive your shipping address and the artwork to be printed. Printify handles most orders; Printful covers certain products and serves as a fallback.
  • Resend — sending order emails and, if you subscribed, product news.
  • Cloudflare R2 — storing your generated and uploaded images.
  • Neon — the database that holds your account, order, and design records.
  • Vercel & Sentry — hosting, analytics, and error monitoring.

Cookies & local storage

We use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for the site to function — for example, to keep you signed in. Your cart is held in your browser’s local storage rather than in a cookie. Our analytics providers may set cookies to measure aggregate usage.

Data retention

We keep your account and order information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service, comply with legal and tax obligations, and resolve disputes. You can ask us to delete your account and associated data at any time.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email us at support@generatedgoods.com and we’ll respond within a reasonable time.

Children

Our service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll revise the “last updated” date at the top of this page.
